An extensive programme is likely mixing traditional pageantry with cutting edge technological displays. The extra Bank Holiday will be on Monday 8th May offering a long-weekend to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III - the first time a new King has been crowned in the UK since 1936. This historic event will see the eyes of the world will turn to the UK.
Our four-day coach trip will stay within easy coaching distance of the heart of the capital and we will provide return transfers into central London on each day of your holiday. As we get closer to this weekend of celebration, details of the events over this weekend will be announced.
While events are yet to be confirmed for 2023, we can expect to see a grand coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey, followed by a parade and procession featuring the new King and members of the Royal Family. On day three we offer an optional half day excursion to charming Windsor. We will start by escorting our customers to central London, where they will have the opportunity to explore and discover the city on their own. After that, we will take a trip to the picturesque town of Windsor, which is home to the majestic Windsor Castle, the former residence of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Guests will have the opportunity to stroll through the charming streets of Windsor, take in the local sights and sounds, and browse the unique shops that line the streets. In the mid-afternoon, we will depart Windsor and make our way back to central London, where guests will have some free time to explore the city at their own pace before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Late afternoon, we'll journey to our hotel where we'll spend the next three nights.
Day Two - London and The coronation of King Charles III. The main event! You’ll be provided with return transfers into central London for this day of celebration. With an extensive program of public events, we'll have the opportunity to experience traditional pageantry, cutting edge technological displays and more, celebrating the coronation of King Charles III. The exact schedule of events has yet to be confirmed, but we can expect to see a grand coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey, followed by a parade and procession featuring the new King and members of the Royal Family, and other special events to mark this historic occasion. Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to explore the city, taking in its many famous landmarks and neighbourhoods like Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, British Museum, and more.
Day Three - London or Windsor. You'll be provided with return transfers into central London for a further full day celebrating this historic occasion. Enjoy another opportunity to explore this incredible city and all it has to offer.

Day Four - Bank Holiday Monday in London. After a hearty breakfast, we'll have one last opportunity to explore the city with included transfers into London for time at leisure. We'll take this time to take in any sights we may have missed and do some last-minute shopping. As the day comes to a close, we'll depart London and begin our journey home, bringing with us memories of an unforgettable weekend in the heart of London, celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.
