Rieu will be joined in July by the famous Johann Strauss Orchestra to play his popular brand of accessible classical music. You cannot fail to be moved by his programme of irresistible waltzes, classical music, operetta and classic renditions of famous pieces like 'You’ll Never Walk Alone' and 'Amazing Grace'.
Before the concert you will have an afternoon to enjoy the historical town of Maastricht and soak up the festival atmosphere. This popular city is known for it’s beautiful Old Town, great shopping opportunities and quaint little eateries. If you are a book lover make sure to stop by the Boekhandel Dominicanen a delightful bookstore located in a dominican church, it really is quite unique.
Our fantastic four day break also gives you more time to enjoy yourself in the heart of Europe. On day two, you can spend time at your leisure or alternatively, you can join our optional excursion to two of the area's most interesting destinations - Valkenburg and Aachen. You can see the subterranean caves of Valkenburg and explore the stunning castle remains amongst the hilly scenery, then explore Aachen’s spectacular cathedral and learn more about it’s rich history. You won’t be dissapointed in these stunning historical locations!
Day One (Journey to Belgium) - Relax on board your comfortable coach as we journey to your Hotel in Belgium/Holland from your chosen pick up point.
Day Two (Valkenburg & Aachen) - Enjoy a complimentary breakfast then spend the day at leisure, enjoy the local sights or take our optional excursion to Valkenburg and Aachen.
Day Three (Maastricht) - After a leisurely breakfast, we include coach transfers to Maastricht where you can have some free time before the concert on Vrijthof Square. After the concert we will provide a return transfer to your hotel.
Day Four (Journey Home) - Last Day! Enjoy breakfast before we depart the hotel and journey home. At Calais we board our return Channel crossing to England and onwards to your original departure point, full of fond memories.

Join our full day excursion to both Holland and Germany for only £25. Valkenburg is a pretty town famous for its subterranean caves and romantic hilltop castle ruins. Aachen is a historical German town with connections to the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne and a spectacular cathedral. Prebook this optional excursion for only £25 per person.
Enhance your concert experience and upgrade your tickets/seats (limited availability!). We have a small supply of tickets in Blocks B1 & B3 (Category 3) and Block C2 (Category 4). Here you will get even better views by being more central and/or closer to the stage. Please note categories changed and we include Category 5 tickets as standard, located in blocks C1 & C3. If you wish to upgrade we urge you to book early to avoid disappointment. Please note that ticket upgrades need to be paid for at the time of booking/adding and are non-refundable.
