New Year In Dublin - 2010
“Spend New Year in Dublin - one of the most exciting and friendly capital cities in the world.”
Dublin is a city that is truly cosmopolitan - its easy-going lifestyle creates a really special atmosphere, most
particularly in its friendly bars and restaurants. It is a great place for shopping, has a wonderful history and a thrilling nightlife. Whatever
your reason for choosing Dublin, you won’t be disappointed! During the daytime you can stroll around and enjoy the many delights that Dublin has
to offer.
There's no mistaking when the New Year arrives in Dublin's centre. The bells of Christ Church Cathedral (the Holy
Trinity) have been ringing in the year's best party night for a very long time. Gather outside the cathedral to hear the bells ring in the New
Year. On New Year's Day you can choose from two wonderful optional excursions. 'A Day at the Races' will take you to the National Hunt meeting
at Fairyhouse Racecourse on the outskirts of Dublin and we include admission. Alternatively, enjoy a scenic drive along the Wicklow coast,
passing picturesque Bray and Greystones towards Wicklow. After a pause at Wicklow we journey to Glendalough famous for its monastic site.
