Ostend & The Dutch Bulb Fields

One of the world’s most spectacular flower gardens is our destination as Spring Bulbs come to life at Keukenhof Park. Millions of blooms form breathtaking displays of colour and create the unforgettable scents. The paths are generally wide and gentle, user friendly to both wheelchairs and pushchairs. There is an outdoor wildlife zoo, a maze, a playground and an old Dutch windmill for children to play in. The park also has a dune landscape, a 350-metre beech avenue, an exhibition pavilion and a series of majestic fountains. There are also a number of cafes and fast food outlets. You will stay in Ostend, on the Belgian Riviera – a seaside resort famous for its seaside esplanade, pier, and fine-sand beaches. We also visit Bruges, the ‘little Venice of the North’ famed for its bridges and canals. An optional visit to Sluis, a traditional Dutch town of windmills and clogs completes your stay.
