Cliff Richard and the Shadows and Cologne Christmas Markets

It`s Twenty years since their last performance together, Cliff and The Shadows reunite to celebrate their 50th anniversary in the music industry!, So why not combine concert with a bit of festive shopping. Cologne offers six different Christmas Markets and attracts over 2 million visitors each year. The cathedral market features 170 stalls and with Cologne Cathedral as it`s backdrop is most impressive."
Cliff Richard and the Shadows bring their extraordinary partnership to an end with a Golden Anniversary concert and the Lanxess Arena (formerly known as Kölnarena) in Cologne is going to be one of the venues to host this end of an era spectacular concert. The group, who were famous during the late fifties and early sixties, dominated the British popular music scene, Hits included Living Doll, Travellin' Light, Please Don't Tease, Bachelor Boy, Wonderful Land and Apache. So why not combine concert with a bit of festive shopping, Cologne's Christmas Markets are some of Europe's finest and beneath the largest Christmas tree in the Rhineland you can find some 160 or so attractively designed wooden pavilions. Here you can choose from numerous sweet delicacies, watch artisans at work and enjoy the 'Original Christmas mulled wine' out of the festively decorated Christmas mugs.

The holiday included tickets for category 5 seating area, However these have now sold out.
New holiday price includes Category 4 ticket. If you wish, you can upgrade your tickets to Category 3 (£10).

Your Hotel
You will stay 3 nights in a 3 star hotel in the Rhineland area within easy coaching
distance of Cologne. All hotels have
en-suite bedrooms, comfortable bar
and restaurant where continental
breakfast is served.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - GERMANY. Journey to your hotel in Koblenz area.
Day 2 - Included visit to Cologne Christmas Markets and Lanxess Arena where the spectacular Cliff Richard and the Shadows concert takes place. Return to your hotel after the concert.
Day 3 - Included visit to Koblenz where Christmas Markets take place in the picturesque old quarter. Optional River Rhine Cruise.
Day 4 - Journey to Calais and return Home.
