Only for one weekend every two years Belgian begonia cultivators decorate the Market Place with a beautiful flower carpet. With a different theme
each time and reputed to use one million Begonias, this is an event not to be missed! The famous Carpet of Flowers is laid right front of the
Grand Palace, in the market square and for a small charge (payable locally*), can be admired best from the balcony of the City Hall, which is open to the
public for the occasion. This short break is based in the wonderful Belgian seaside resort of Ostend where your evenings and the last morning of your
holiday will be at leisure for relaxation, shopping and sightseeing..
You will stay for two nights at a comfortable hotel, such as, or similar to, the Westminster Group of hotels. All hotels used have well-furnished
